The play opens in the middle of a discussion among three people about the high values and importance of “reconciliation” and “unity”. During the discussion one of the characters plays an intermediary role while they are all trying to identify who is responsible for the contradictory problems their society. The Honeyman foundation was established by the generosity of A.M. (Sandy) Honeyman, a former Professor in the University of St Andrews in 1985 with the aim of encouraging education and research in general and study of Middle Eastern languages and cultures, in particular.
