 Performed in Persian as part of the Conference on Culture and Cultural Production in Iran

 The play opens in the middle of a discussion among three people about the high values and importance of “reconciliation” and “unity”. During the discussion one of the characters plays an intermediary role while they are all trying to identify who is responsible  for the contradictory problems their society. Each considers himself as the better human being. Meanwhile they gradually become more brutal in their behaviors towards each other …

نمایش در میانه ی بحثی میان سه نفر درمورد اهمیت «تفاهم» و «آشتی» آغاز می شود. یکی از سه نفر نقش میانجی را به عهده می گیرد. هر یک بدنبال«مقصر» تناقضات موجود در جامعه می گردد و خود را بهتر و انسان تر از دیگران توصیف می کند. هر چه بحث پیشتر می رود، برخورد آنها با یکدیگرخشن تر می شود و

 

The play and the conference has been funded by the Honeyman Foundation, School of Modern Languages (University of St Andrews), and Institute of Iranian Studies (University of St Andrews). 

The Honeyman foundation was established by the generosity of A.M. (Sandy) Honeyman, a former Professor in the University of St Andrews in 1985  with the aim of encouraging education and research in general and study of Middle Eastern languages and cultures, in particular.
